Before we WWOOF...

With a few days to spare until we start WWOOFing, we thought we'd go back into Albany and fix the leaking tap that Nick had just replaced when we first got into Albany. Nick had a Kayak, in the main harbor, we caught the boat shed markets and an amazing sun set.

We ran back into Mark again and had more showers and we had big chats. After a few hours we were able to complete our list. We stopped at an Avocado for sale sign, and met a lovely couple, who were housesitting for the owners, while they went away for the warm weather. After we got chatting and she had thrown in some extra avocados (we ended up with like 12 for $6) she gave us some treats for the girlies, a jar of jam, some apples picked fresh off the tree, and some gret advivce on free spots to camp when we head up the coast. Finally we got to cosy corner for te night, where we set up up outside and satched a storm roll in over the bay. Was stunning, as there were no clouds above us, was a fairly full moon, the milky way was shining bright, and we watched this lightening break over the ocean away's from us. It eventually came in closer and we had to go to bed.

Next day we drove towards Denmark, and after getting in some information from the lovely people at  Youngs Sliding, we went into the Nature reserve "NULLAKI". Its a private nature reserve, on a Peninsula, located on the eastern side of the Wilson inlet, with big gates to keep out vermin and keep in wildlife. Nick found us a lovely spot (on a property that was for sale) with the most magnificent views.

We went for a walk, found a lovely look out, and a container full of bits and pieces, upon closer inspection we found it was part of a "Geo cachce". Its some GPS thing which if you follow the co-ordinates, leads you to some cool spots where other pople have hidden these containers, you take something thats in them write in a little book thats located within, and then leave something behind. Thats pretty cool, and got us both talking, but we dont have GPS, so its out for us. Spent the rest of the day chillin out and soaking up the sun.

Sahara even did some mechanical work for us...

After a good sleep, and it wasnt too cold, we wanted to do a part of the bidbudmun track, take the dogs for a good walk to the mouth, where the estuary meets the ocean. When we got down there it was really over grown, the track was barely... and after walking next to a stinky river, I decided that we had more chance getting bitten by a snake than actually enjoying the walk, so we turned back.

Another sunny afternoon, but grew cold in the evening, so we turned on the laptop and watched a few movies. Then it started to RAIN....

After a wet night, we had a very slow moring and planned to do a few tourist things on our way into Denmark.

We checked out bush food company which was ultra pricey, but we had a couple of tastes and Nick had a "great" coffee. We also had a big yarn to the owner, who did the "sea change" thing over from Switzerland 8 years ago, she also gave us a few tips on Denmark and what goes on there. Apparently the residents are either for or against everything (no grey area) but we will see for ourselves. Property sure is expensive out this way.

We spent way too much time yarning on to the lady at the Bush food café, so we didn't get to go to the Woodwork Gallery that we wanted to check out, or the Brewery on the way into town (but its best we didn't go check that out, wouldn't want to rock up late/drunk or both, to our WWOOFer host.
