Border track 4x4

Nick and I were surprised (and totally impressed) that we managed to drive the snail through the border track. It was a good challenge for us to figure out how the snail handled in the sand, and through the dunes, and because we hit the track on the Easter weekend( there was a motocross on
ambulance... you know just in case), as well as a lot of other 4x4's out there.

We decided to give it a go and had to have a laugh because if we got stuck then the people behind would have to  help out, as its a one way track!! Though... at one point we had to get the people behind to help us hold back a tree branch, (bit low clearance).

nothing duct tape cant fix
Wish we did the same for the tree branch that broke our "bedroom" window, could of avoided a broken screen and glass on our bed. Hopefully the mosquitos don't find the snag in the screen, as my blood is delicious.
We still had around 40km+ to travel. So we pushed the snail on...we really couldn't turn around, one way track and all.  We drove through some beautiful scenery, and the summer colour's were amazing greens, reds and yellows. The picture below doesn't really do it justice.

We also spotted some amazing wildlife this Lizards was stunning, such vibrant colours for this dessert we were driving through.

The weather was amazing too, blue skies with some fluffy white clouds, all made for an enjoyable 4x4 experience.

The Girlies were getting fed up with being in a rocking snail, and having things tumble around( and sometimes on) them, and the track appeared to have no end in sight so we did the 'ol chase the car exercise run, worked a treat and they both were a lot more relaxed afterwards.
